    Fishing on a glorious morning

    This reservoir is about two hours drive from Bangalore. The water body is opened up for fishing in the winter months. Local fishermen who get approvals from the authorities usually begin fishing very early morning . I wanted to shoot some fishing activity, so I was there one day very early in the morning. This was my lucky day, as a thick fog had  settled on the lake bed. Fishermen started their activity and sun rose to clear the fog, which created dramatic colors and effects. Here is what I captured that day.

    When photographing this, I used a 0.6 Grad ND filter to make the sun little less harsher than my main subject – the fisherman on the coracle.
